Heute möchte ich ein für mich persönlich sehr wichtiges Thema ansprechen. Es geht um Düfte. Ist euch auch schon einmal aufgefallen, wie beeinflussend der Geruch eines Menschen auf euch wirkt? Auch biologisch ist nachgewiesen, dass wir manchen Personen einfach „nicht riechen können“. In diesem Fall hat es weniger mit dem Parfum als mit dem eigenen Geruch zu tun, dennoch ist mir das immens wichtig.

Gerade letzte Woche ist es mir passiert, dass ich jemanden getroffen habe, den ich interessant fand. Als sich mir diese Person bis auf ca. 1 Meter näherte, wollte ich jedoch gleich wieder flüchten. Das Parfum/Aftershave, was auch immer es war, brannte mir förmlich in der Nase. Ich konnte ihn einfach nicht riechen. So hart ist das Leben.

Deshalb habe ich heute meine Lieblingsdüfte für euch zusammengetragen. Wenn es um Parfum geht, bin ich ein bekennender Dior-Fan, wie man an meiner Auswahl vielleicht erkennen kann. Zu den Details:

Today I want to talk about a quite necessary issue. It’s about fragrances. Did you ever notice, that the scent of a person has an influencing effect on you? It’s biological proven, that two people also appeal to each other through scents recognised by the nose. In this case it’s rather about individual scent than fragrances, but that’s also very important to me.

Last week I met someone interesting at a bar. But as that guy came closer, I literally wanted to escape. The perfume/aftershave, whatever it was,burning in my nose. I just couldn’t smell him. It’s a hard life.

That’s why I collected my favourite perfumes for you today. As you can tell by my selection, I’m a professed Dior fan when it’s about fragrances. About the details:

Obwohl ich mich seit Längerem bewusst und gerne von Abercrombie&Fitch distanziere, muss ich zugeben, dass dieses Parfum einfach immer noch zu meinen Lieblingen zählt. Abercrombie&Fitch No. 1 ist für Frauen, dem Geruch des Männerduftes jedoch sehr ähnlich. Es ist einfach was Besonderes und wie man sieht, fast aufgebraucht, so gerne mag ich es!

Despite the fact that I like to dissociate myself from Abercrombie&Fitch, I have to admit, that this fragrance is still one of my favourites. Abercrombie&Fitch No. 1 is for women but pretty similar to the men’s fragrance. It’s definitely something special and, as you can see, almost used up because I like it that much.

Schon lange befindet sich in meiner Kollektion das „Miss Dior Chérie“. Ein wunderbar femininer Duft, erinnert ein wenig an den Frühling. Komischerweise verwechsle ich es oft mit „Chanel Mademoiselle“, was für mich echt total ähnlich riecht. Kennt sich da jemand aus? Das verwirrt mich immer noch…

„Miss Dior Chérie“ is still part of my collection. An incredibly feminine scent, it reminds me of spring. Strangely enough I always confuse it with „Chanel Mademoiselle“, which is pretty similar I guess. Is anyone familiar with this? It still confuses me…

Mein absolutes Nummer eins Lieblingsparfum ist jedoch dieses. Nein, es ist nicht das normale „J’adore“ von Dior, sondern die Sonderausgabe „J’adore L’Or“. Da ich das gewöhnliche J’adore mal geschenkt bekommen hatte und es wirklich gar nicht mochte, kann ich mit Sicherheit sagen, dass dieses hier ganz anders riecht. Stolze 110€ hat es gekostet, aber ich verwende es seit Jahren und ein kleiner Spritzer genügt. Kennt jemand diese Ausgabe? Soweit ich weiß, kann man es nicht mehr gerade so kaufen, weshalb ich weiterhin sparsam damit umgehe.

Was ist euer Nummer eins Lieblingsdurf?

My absolute favourite perfume is this one. No, it’s not the usual „J’adore“ by Dior, but the special edition „J’adore L’Or“. Someone presented me the usual „J’adore“ and I really didn’t like it. Hence I can tell that this scent is completely different. It was 110€, but I’ve been using it for many years now and a little splash is enough for the whole day. Does anyone know this edition? As far as I can tell, you can’t just buy it at an ordinary store, so I’m using it with deliberation.
